Anna Zakoyan
We don't have time for long retros and team coaching sessions. We have work to do." Sounds familiar? In our fast-paced world, focusing on team improvement often takes a back seat to immediate tasks.
As Agile Coaches, we face a paradox: we're taught to solve problems, but true coaching is about empowering others to find their own solutions. So, how do we create space for reflection and improvements without resistance, all within tight time constraints?
Enter the power of 15-minute informal interactions. This workshop explores how to leverage these brief moments to boost team productivity and cohesion. We'll use a balanced approach that builds on organizational strengths and fosters a positive culture.
Through interactive exercises, we'll answer three key questions:
- Why do employees stay? Why are we here?
- What drives value creation?
- Which daily practices enhance productivity?
We'll practice the Five Disciplines Model of Team Effectiveness, sharing quick yet profound exercises:
- Purpose clarification and personal reflection
- Goal-setting and stakeholder engagement activities
- Joy and anxiety quadrants to surface personal preferences for team cohesion
- Timeline creation of a typical day, highlighting moments of high and low productivity
- Core learning activity for team reflection
Using Agile Tour Vilnius 2024 as our case study, we'll go beyond standard agile practices to unlock the hidden potential in everyday interactions.
By the end of this session, you'll have a practical toolkit of 15-minute practices to implement immediately, driving lasting improvements in your team's dynamics and performance.
Join us to discover how small interventions can make a big impact in our time-crunched world. Let's glue our teams back together, one 15-minute practice at a time!
